EMPIRE OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT
The grandparent to the Roman empire, this empire was mostly a philosophical and scientific masterpiece. This civilization was the beginnings of democracy and fair representation as well as classical art, centered mostly in Athens but in many of the surrounding city-states such as Sparta. Many brilliant thinkers such as aristotle, plato, and socrates focused more on the human aspect of life and questioned what it meant to be human. This empire was eventually conquered by Philip of Macedonia and ruled over by his heir, Alexander the Great.
